A Boston classic from the early 1900s that stayed popular through the Mad Men years. Rye, citrus, and grenadine make this one easy to drink.
Ingredients
- ·2 oz rye whiskey
- ·1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- ·1/2 oz fresh orange juice
- ·1/4 oz grenadine
- ·Orange slice and cherry to garnish
Method
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.
Pour slowly. Sip slower.
