Corpse Reviver No. 2

Gin, Cointreau, Lillet Blanc, lemon, and a rinse of absinthe. A 1930s hangover cure from the Savoy. Crisp, floral, and borderline magical.

Ingredients

  • ·3/4 oz gin
  • ·3/4 oz Cointreau
  • ·3/4 oz Lillet Blanc
  • ·3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • ·Absinthe (for rinsing the glass)
  • ·Orange twist to garnish

Method

Rinse a chilled coupe with absinthe and discard. Combine all other ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with an orange twist.

Pour slowly. Sip slower.
