Kir Royale

Champagne with a splash of blackcurrant liqueur. Named after a French mayor with impeccable taste. Pink, celebratory, and endlessly elegant.

Ingredients

  • ·4 oz champagne or dry sparkling wine
  • ·1/2 oz creme de cassis
  • ·Lemon twist to garnish (optional)

Method

Pour creme de cassis into a champagne flute. Top with cold champagne. Stir gently once. Garnish with a lemon twist if desired.

Pour slowly. Sip slower.
