A whiskey sour with a red wine float on top. It looks as good as it tastes. The wine adds a soft fruity layer over the tart lemon base.
Ingredients
- ·2 oz bourbon
- ·3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- ·3/4 oz simple syrup
- ·1 egg white
- ·1/2 oz dry red wine (float)
Method
Dry shake bourbon, lemon, syrup, and egg white. Add ice and shake hard. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Slowly pour the red wine over the back of a spoon to create a float on top.
Pour slowly. Sip slower.
