Tequila Sunrise

Tequila, orange juice, and grenadine that sinks to the bottom to look like a sunrise. A 1960s California original. Beautiful and easy to drink.

Ingredients

  • ·2 oz blanco tequila
  • ·4 oz orange juice
  • ·1/2 oz grenadine
  • ·Orange slice and cherry to garnish

Method

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add tequila and orange juice and stir. Slowly pour grenadine over the back of a spoon or down the inside of the glass so it sinks to the bottom. Do not stir. Garnish with orange slice and cherry.

Pour slowly. Sip slower.
