Scotch or whiskey with hot water, honey, and lemon. The cold weather drink of the entire era. Simple, warming, and a classic bar call.
Ingredients
- ·1.5 oz Scotch or bourbon
- ·1 tbsp honey
- ·1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- ·6 oz hot water
- ·Lemon wheel and cinnamon stick to garnish
Method
Add honey and lemon juice to a heatproof mug. Pour in the hot water and stir to dissolve. Add the whiskey. Garnish with a lemon wheel and cinnamon stick.
Pour slowly. Sip slower.
