Mojito

White rum, fresh mint, lime, sugar, and soda. A Cuban classic that Hemingway drank at La Bodeguita del Medio in Havana. Fresh and endlessly drinkable.

Ingredients

  • ·2 oz white rum
  • ·3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • ·3/4 oz simple syrup
  • ·8-10 fresh mint leaves
  • ·Club soda to top
  • ·Mint sprig and lime wheel to garnish

Method

Gently muddle mint with syrup in the bottom of a highball glass. Fill with ice. Add rum and lime juice. Top with club soda and stir gently. Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wheel.

Pour slowly. Sip slower.
