Gin, sweet vermouth, and Fernet-Branca. Invented by Ada Coleman at the Savoy Hotel in the 1920s. Bitter, complex, and absolutely fascinating.
Ingredients
- ·1.5 oz gin
- ·1.5 oz sweet vermouth
- ·2 dashes Fernet-Branca
- ·Orange peel to garnish
Method
Stir all ingredients with ice in a mixing glass until chilled. Strain into a coupe. Express an orange peel over the top and discard.
Pour slowly. Sip slower.
