Navy Grog
strong · served in a tiki or double rocks

Three rums, honey, grapefruit, and lime. A Trader Vic and Donn Beach specialty from the 1940s-50s tiki era. Deceptively potent.
Ingredients
- ·1 oz white rum
- ·1 oz dark Jamaican rum
- ·1 oz Demerara rum
- ·1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- ·1/2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- ·1/2 oz honey syrup (1:1 honey and water)
- ·Mint sprig to garnish
Method
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with crushed ice. Shake and pour unstrained into a tiki glass or double rocks glass. Top with more crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.
Pour slowly. Sip slower.
