Planter's Punch
tropical · served in a highball

Dark rum with citrus, grenadine, and a dash of bitters. A Caribbean staple that traveled north and never left. Sweet, sour, and boozy.
Ingredients
- ·2 oz dark rum
- ·1 oz fresh lime juice
- ·1 oz fresh orange juice
- ·1/2 oz grenadine
- ·2 dashes Angostura bitters
- ·Club soda to top
- ·Orange slice and cherry to garnish
Method
Combine rum, juices, and grenadine in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a highball glass over ice. Top with a splash of club soda and bitters. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.
Pour slowly. Sip slower.
