Cuba Libre

White rum, cola, and fresh lime. Born in Cuba after the Spanish-American War. Simple, refreshing, and the drink that turned a generation onto rum.

Ingredients

  • ·2 oz white rum
  • ·4 oz cola
  • ·1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • ·Lime wedge to garnish

Method

Fill a highball glass with ice. Squeeze the lime in and drop it in the glass. Add rum and top with cold cola. Stir gently.

Pour slowly. Sip slower.
