Whiskey Sour

Bourbon shaken with fresh lemon and sugar. Tart and satisfying, often served with a frothy egg white top. A classic party staple.

Ingredients

  • ·2 oz bourbon
  • ·3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • ·3/4 oz simple syrup
  • ·1 egg white (optional)
  • ·Maraschino cherry and orange slice to garnish

Method

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. If using egg white, dry shake first (no ice) for 15 seconds. Add ice and shake hard. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a cherry and orange slice.

Pour slowly. Sip slower.
