Gin with a few dashes of Angostura bitters. The British Navy drank this for decades. Austere, aromatic, and not for the faint of heart.
Ingredients
- ·2.5 oz Plymouth or London dry gin
- ·3 dashes Angostura bitters
- ·Cold water (optional)
Method
Chill a martini glass. Add bitters and swirl to coat the glass. Add gin straight or with a small splash of cold water. Serve with no garnish.
Pour slowly. Sip slower.
