Gin, lemon, sugar, and champagne. Named after a WWI artillery piece for its kick. Light, celebratory, and dangerously easy to drink.
Ingredients
- ·1 oz gin
- ·1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- ·1/2 oz simple syrup
- ·3 oz champagne or dry sparkling wine
- ·Lemon twist to garnish
Method
Combine gin, lemon, and syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a champagne flute. Top with cold champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Pour slowly. Sip slower.
