A Manhattan made with Scotch instead of rye. Smoky, herbal, and smooth. Named after the Scottish folk hero, it became a supper club staple.
Ingredients
- ·2 oz Scotch whisky
- ·1 oz sweet vermouth
- ·2 dashes Angostura bitters
- ·Maraschino cherry to garnish
Method
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled and strain into a coupe. Garnish with a cherry.
Pour slowly. Sip slower.
